What is a Clinical Trial?
A clinical trial is a study to test a possible new product that has the potential to improve your health and possibly have less side effects and be safer than current treatments.
Typically, pre-clinical research begins in the laboratory or involves testing with either animals or tissue. After extensive testing and evaluations, only the most promising studies that demonstrate a worthiness for clinical trials are selected to be done with human volunteers. The objective is to then determine the safety and effectiveness.
You can play a role in making this world a better place. Without volunteers, new possible treatments would never be made available to you or anyone else.
